WHO IS ALEXANDRA GRACE
Alexandra Grace Flowers was established by Alexandra in 2010. Having grown up as the daughter of a wildly creative and successful florist Alexandra was surrounded by flowers throughout her life and set to work at an early age within the world of floristry. Initially a degree in Fashion Textiles led her into the film industry on film sets and in design studios. Working within this industry taught Alexandra the skill of just how to specifically create the right atmosphere for an event. As she returned to the countryside Alexandra was pulled back into floristry, using all her knowledge passed to her from a talented mother and enhanced by the Philippa Craddock Flower School.
Although primarily an event florist Ali has a passion for decorating private houses and thoroughly enjoys the immense satisfaction of floral workshops and demonstrations she holds throughout the year.
Ali’s style is natural and seasonal - to bring the wonder of the outdoors and nature into each event, to be as sustainable as possible, using local growers, never floral foam and with the use of plants where possible which can be repurposed and create everlasting memories.
Being a florist fills Ali with joy and when she is designing, creating and surrounded by flowers, she is at her most happy.
OUR ETHOS
We love the beauty of nature and try wherever possible to be as sustainable as possible. Where we can, we buy British seasonal flowers and foliage, we never use floral foam or single use plastics. We encourage clients to use plants if possible which can be planted in gardens or given as gifts after events.
