The brief for this beautiful wedding was to use late summer flowers and foliage but also to re-purpose many of the church flowers for the marquee. Alongside seasonal flowers and foliage, including blackberries and old mans beard, we used seasonal plants which helped with a smooth transition from church to marquee. The family are keen sailors so the lavender plants were moved from the church to the marquee and repositioned beside a ‘boat’ bar giving the impress of a floating bar upon the sea. Simple but magically effective.
