The bride’s favourite flowers were peonies and stocks. She and her bridesmaid carried peonies and the same pale pink was carried through to the buttonholes and flowers for their two lovely dogs. The reception, in a beautiful old timber beamed barn, had tables filled with mossed lavender, rosemary and rose plants and tall glass vases filled with arrangements of summer seasonal flowers and hanging tea lights. All the plants were given away to guests as well as planted in families gardens where many years later they are still a wonderful memory of such a fabulous day.
